Privacy Policy
Last updated 2 November 2026
This policy explains how KnockOnce Studio (“KnockOnce”, “we”, “us”) handles personal data when you visit knockonce.in or contact us. We keep data collection to what we need to reply to you and to understand how our website and ads perform.
What we collect
- Information you send us through the contact form or by email: your name, email, company, phone or WhatsApp number, the service you're interested in, budget range and your message.
- How you found us: the page you first landed on, the referring website, and campaign tags or ad click IDs in the link you used (for example utm_source, gclid or fbclid).
- Usage data collected through cookies and similar technologies, such as pages visited, device and browser type, and approximate location, when analytics and advertising tags are enabled.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and discuss a possible project.
- To keep a record of our conversations in our customer relationship system.
- To measure which pages, articles and ads bring enquiries, so we can improve them.
- To protect the website from spam and abuse.
We do not sell your personal data, and we don't add you to a marketing newsletter unless you ask us to.
Legal basis
For visitors in the UK and European Economic Area, we process enquiry data on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to you and taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. Analytics and advertising cookies are only used with your consent, which you can give or refuse in the cookie banner. For visitors in India, we process personal data you provide in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, for the purpose for which you provided it.
Who we share it with
We use trusted service providers to run our website and business. They process data on our behalf:
- HubSpot: customer relationship management (storing enquiries).
- Resend: sending email notifications and replies.
- Netlify: website hosting.
- Sanity: website content management (does not receive form data).
- Google (Analytics and Ads) and Meta (Facebook and Instagram ads): measuring website traffic and ad performance.
- Cloudflare: spam protection on forms.
Some providers are located outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, they rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
Cookies
We use cookies for analytics (Google Analytics) and to measure advertising (Google Ads and Meta Pixel). If you are in the UK or EEA, these only run after you accept them. You can change your choice at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser, which will show the banner again. You can also block cookies in your browser settings.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry records for up to 24 months after our last contact, unless we start working together, in which case we keep them for as long as needed for the project and our legal obligations.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict use of your personal data, to object to processing, to withdraw consent and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@knockonce.in. We'll respond within 30 days.
If you are in the UK, you can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). If you are in India, you may contact us first as our grievance contact at the email above, and may then approach the Data Protection Board of India.
Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls and reputable providers to protect your data. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share with us.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
